Emma doesn't have the chicken pox

I guess you can disregard the last post b/c going back to the doctor this a.m. for a recheck, Dr. Finch informed me that he didn't think the rash/bumps were chicken pox. Usually chicken pox bumps will "fester" up and then pop and scab up & then news ones will appear, well the ones on Emma have not done that! She was complaining of her throat and ears hurting last night so he rechecked that as well. She does have an ear infection in her right ear and the start of strep throat. Dr. Finch seems to think that is why she has the rash. Sometimes when you have strep, it can come out in a rash form (sort of like a viral/bacteria rash)! So, HOORAY that she doesn't have chicken pox! So, last day at home ( I was off yesterday too) and back to school & work tomorrow!
