Trent's 1st day of 4K

Today, Trent started 4K at Wateree. He was very excited and really all he wanted to do was slide on the big slide! LOL! We love you Trent and hope you had a great day!

First Day of 1st Grade

Dropped Emma off to first grade this a.m. She was excited, especially since they each have a locker! Hope you have a good day and we love you! Can't believe you are already in 1st grade!

Happy 4th Birthday Trent

Trent's Birthday was August 3rd. Instead of a birthday party, we took him to the beach with some friends for a weekend. And, on his actual birthday had a small family party with cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday Trent, we love you!

Emma's 5K Graduation

Today Emma graduated from 5K! We started the morning off walking her to her room (just like we did on the very first day of school), then headed to the lunchroom for their program/graduation. All of the 5k classes preformed a song with just their class, then all 5 classes from the 5K preformed one together. I was doing okay, that is, until we walked back down to her classroom for snacks and a slide show of their school year. Talk about a tear jerker!! There was music to the slide show and the very first song was "Don't blink", by Kenny Chesney. I immediately started balling and cried the entire time! I've had a knot in my throat the rest of the day and wanted to cry many a time today! I'm not ready to accept that her first year of school is over and she is growing up! After snacks, we signed Emma out and headed home! What a way to end a great school year!

Emma,

We are so very proud of you and everything you have accomplished this year. You have exceeded our expectations we had for you being a student! You are so very smart, talented, beautiful, caring, loving and an amazing little girl that is just growing up way too fast! We love you more than words can say and more than you will ever know! Always remember that you can do ANYTHING and we are ALWAYS here for you no matter what! Now, on to another great journey, 1st grade! We know you will do wonderfully there as well! We love and cherish you always and are proud to be your parents! Good luck with everything you do! We are so proud!
